The Install Service Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves wiring new systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards. The Electrician - Install-Service must deliver exceptional customer service while completing projects efficiently and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, and equipment in new and existing structures.
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, identifying faulty wiring, circuits, or components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system functionality and safety.
- Replace or upgrade electrical panels, switches, and outlets as needed.
- Respond to customer service calls promptly to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Provide clear explanations and recommendations to clients regarding repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by completing work to high standards and leaving work areas clean.
- Adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety regulations.
- Use proper protective equipment and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Test electrical systems and components to verify functionality and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of service work, materials used, and project completion.
- Provide detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and installations for supervisors or clients.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for permits and inspections.
- Work alongside other electricians, contractors, and project managers to complete installations.
- Train and mentor apprentice electricians or junior technicians as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to review schedules, safety practices, and project updates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and answering questions about their electrical systems.
- Recommend energy-efficient upgrades or solutions to improve system performance and reduce costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or trade school certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an electrician in installation and service roles.
- Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Proficient in using tools and equipment such as multimeters, conduit benders, and power tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- OSHA safety certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for traveling to job sites.
