Meiers Mechanical seeks an Electrical Manager to lead the electrical scope of residential and light commercial HVAC projects across the Kansas City metro. In this hands-on leadership role, you will plan, schedule, and oversee electrical installations, service, and upgrades for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include code-compliant wiring, panel work, troubleshooting, inspections, and quality control. You'll mentor technicians, coordinate with customers and project managers, ensure safety and NEC compliance, and support estimating and material planning in a service-focused, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical scope for residential and light commercial HVAC projects
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work to electricians and HVAC installers
  • Review blueprints, specs, and codes to ensure compliant electrical installations
  • Perform hands-on wiring, panel work, and equipment connections as needed
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues on HVAC systems
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and customers on job status
  • Train and mentor junior electricians and HVAC technicians
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, permits, and inspection records
  • Support estimating, material takeoffs, and vendor coordination for electrical needs
