- Operate light equipment required in the upkeep and operation for areas of responsibility.
- Operate heavy equipment such as gang mowers, landscaping equipment, utility vehicles etc.
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment.
- Identify equipment needs for assigned projects.
- Assist with cleaning and removing trash from all areas of the golf course including shelters and restroom facilities.
- May assist with irrigation maintenance and repairs.
- May assist with snow removal.
- May collaborate with other Park divisions in Cemetery, Forestry and Parks as needed.
- Report to work on time as scheduled.
- Work successfully in a team environment, as well as autonomously, in all weather conditions.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Engage with team members in a considerate and helpful manner and project a positive attitude in the workplace.

- Basic knowledge of landscaping maintenance and turf management.
- Ability to connect, pull and backup trailers.
- Ability to obtain a DOT certificate after in-house training and within first week of hire.
- Basic knowledge in care, operation and maintenance requirements for power tools and power-driven equipment.
- Skilled in operation and general maintenance of light and/or heavy equipment.
- Skilled in basic traffic and safety rules and regulations and accident prevention practices.
- 1-2 Years of experience in landscaping and operating equipment and tractors.
- Unrestricted valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record and background check.
