Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Severance, Colorado. In this role, you will provide maintenance, repair, and light construction services across a variety of commercial, municipal, and facility environments. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving problems, delivering quality workmanship, and providing outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, troubleshooting facility issues, preventative maintenance, and light construction projects. Travel between local job sites is a regular part of this position.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair- Perform general maintenance and repair work, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other building-related tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities, systems, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot building and facility issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Identify and address maintenance concerns to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities.
- Complete light construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
- Install and repair fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, doors, and other building components.
- Assist with remodels, repairs, and facility upgrades.
- Read and interpret work orders, project plans, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, vendors, and team members.
- Provide recommendations regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company in the field.
- Keep stakeholders informed regarding project status and maintenance needs.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, Handyman, or Skilled Trades Professional.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, municipal, or multi-site facilities.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of applicable building and safety standards.
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments.
- Frequent travel between local job sites.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, fumes, and other construction-related environments.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Competitive pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
