The CSU Health Network at Colorado State University is recruiting for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides outpatient adult and occasionally adolescent psychiatric evaluations, medication management and brief psychotherapy. This position is responsible for psychiatric assessments and management, ordering and interpreting tests and documenting in the electronic health record; assesses patient progress and modifies treatment plans accordingly; institutes emergency hospitalizations for patients in crisis for their safety and stabilization when needed; refers patients to community providers when needed;
and provides tele psychiatry services through video/phone conferencing.
