- Develop and maintain software systems for aerospace applications
- Design, develop, and test AI tools and automations that solve business problems
- Understand business-user workflows and pain points
- Translate business requirements into working prototypes and iterate based on user feedback
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Write and maintain code documentation
- Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to ensure code quality, usability, and adoption
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Support integration of AI tools with existing business systems and workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 0-2+ years of experience in software development
- Basic proficiency in C++, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting/application language used for AI and automation development
- Comfortable working directly with non-engineering business stakeholders
- Conceptual understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
- U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce
Demonstrates proficiency in software development for aerospace applications, with a strong focus on AI tools and automation. Capable of translating business requirements into functional prototypes while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
