Location: Fort Collins, CO.
Pay Range: $21.87-$24.49 per hour (12% above minimum).
Benefits: PERA retirement, short and long term disability, and optional benefit elections.
Job Overview: Perform all warehouse functions for Child Nutrition purchases, including receipt, inspection, and distribution of goods. Perform inventory control techniques and manage Child Nutrition food, supplies, and equipment safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively.
Job Tasks:
- Coordinate and perform daily physical transfer of food, supplies, and equipment to and from locations; safely load and unload materials using forklift, dolly, electric or non‑electric pallet jack, wagons, carts, and other equipment; properly maintain and store products and equipment.
- Perform scheduled receiving, storage, and delivery functions; receive and inspect goods from vendors and buildings; monitor and maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels using computer system and physical inspections; identify and communicate inventory shortages or excess.
- Transport supplies, equipment, and/or food to and from schools, departments, businesses, or other outside agencies, ensuring sanitation and safety per federal, state, and department guidelines.
- Assist in all warehouse functions including filling orders, dating product, following FIFO, tracking inventory, and putting away stock and deliveries.
- Follow district policy while driving district vehicles; perform and properly document pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; follow scheduled hours and department procedures; ensure planned routes are followed daily.
- Attend work and arrive in a timely manner according to established schedules.
- Attend all required departmental trainings and meetings.
- May drive school bus in emergency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Licenses
Required:
- High school diploma or GED completion.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- Colorado Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Certified Forklift Operator License required.
- Ability to successfully complete a post‑offer, pre‑employment physical examination.
