Driver ~ PT ~ Senior Living Community ~ Town

Position: Driver (Part-time)
Schedule: Friday 8am – 5pm
Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Employment Type: Non-exempt

Responsible for driving residents to and from scheduled destinations and for the safe, effective operation of all Community transportation vehicles. This role ensures residents’ safety and well‑being while maintaining vehicle records and adhering to all driver and motor vehicle guidelines.

• Drive residents to and from specified destinations such as doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
• Monitor residents’ overall well‑being and report any status changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with driver safety training of other operators, if required.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle preventive maintenance, costs, and mileage versus gas expenses.
• Prepare and submit quarterly management reports and billable hour reports for residents.
• Comply with all driver and motor vehicle guidelines.

• Demonstrate the company’s core values:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months of driving experience, preferably with senior adults; knowledge of local streets and ability to navigate to and from destinations.
• Valid State driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to drive and maintain various types of vehicles.
