Job Description
Supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
This is a safety‑sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre‑employment drug test that screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone and phencyclidine, following cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
- Ability to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Basic math and reasoning skills.
- Ability to obtain certification of power truck equipment.
- Experience operating inventory control equipment such as bar‑coding equipment and handheld devices.
- Fluent in English;
Spanish a plus.
- Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.
- Position may require climbing of ladders for top‑level selection.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
