Warehouse Associate

Position

Location: 110 W Troutman Pkwy, Fort Collins, CO 80525

Pay: $20.38 – $29.00 per hour (based on experience)

Gordon Food Service Store, the retail division of Gordon Food Service, seeks a warehouse associate for its new restaurant market in Fort Collins. The role involves accurately selecting products, preparing for shipment, and maintaining warehouse operations.

• Read printed case labels and select customer orders accurately.
• Retrieve product from designated selection slots and use a powered industrial vehicle (PIV).
• Scan products with a radio frequency scanner for catch weights or inventory identification.
• Affix labels to cases and place product on pallets using a pallet jack.
• Maintain proper batch sequence and deliver product to the assigned shipping lane in a timely manner.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices for pallet handling; load pallets onto trucks or trailers per computer‑generated loadsheet.
• Secure pallets with load bars or load straps and maintain proper temperature in refrigeration units.
• Perform housekeeping activities daily and inventory materials on the work floor.
• Inspect trailer interiors for cleanliness and load pallets onto trailers according to load diagram.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment (walking, ascending/descending stairs, using pallet jack, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying).
• Must read, write, and communicate in English and work independently or in a team.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.

• Immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns used to warn employees of startup, movement, or approach of equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum age 18 years.
