Salary/Hourly Rate:$27.16

The Stock Clerk will receive and inspect all deliveries from vendors to ensure the following of facility/CDC outlined guidelines. This position will keep a clean and organized workspace to include all storage areas and docks. Practice FIFO techniques while storing items from deliveries in the appropriate areas. The Stock Clerk will work directly under the Project Manager II assigned to this contract.

Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

Assist Project Manager in the management and counting of stock and inventory at the CDC campus in Fort Collins Colorado.

Inspect products to ensure adherence to specifications for temperatures, quantity and quality, report any safety issues or vendor related issues.

Store items from deliveries in appropriate storage areas according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.

Maintain cleanliness and FIFO methods for storage rooms to include dry storage, freezers, and coolers.

Assist the shipping and receiving clerk as needed and under the direction of the Project Manager and/or Assistant/Lead staff person.

Additional Responsibilities Report and log any refusal of shipments, damage to stock or missing items from deliveries.

Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turn over, floor loading capacities and required space.

Perform other administrative duties when needed.

Take over deliveries in the absence of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.

Notify supervisor immediately of malfunctioning, inoperative, unsafe, or hazardous equipment.

Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers and co-workers.

Assist in the front of the house operations when needed.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, some college preferred. At least 1-2 of shipping and receiving is preferred.

Must have valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesA well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
