• Position: Registered Nurse
  - Wound Care
• Location: Fort Defiance
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 5x8
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2600 to $2800

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide specialized care for acute, chronic, surgical, pressure, diabetic, and vascular wounds
• Perform wound dressing changes, debridement assistance, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), and other prescribed treatments
• Monitor wound healing progress and document patient outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, dietitians, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, infection prevention, nutrition, and home care management
• Assess patients for signs of infection and implement appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, wound care best practices, and quality standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on wound prevention and patient outcomes

• Active RN License in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of recent Wound Care nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience with advanced wound care therapies and dressing techniques
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient education skills
• Knowledge of pressure injury prevention, diabetic wound management, and infection control practices
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
