Wound Care Nurse – Wound Care

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (No Holidays or Weekends)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Wound Care Certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• ACLS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with various wound types, including ostomies and pressure ulcers.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding wound care management and equipment.
• Select appropriate supplies and equipment to optimize wound and ostomy care.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with facility protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care interventions.
