Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

12-Hour Night Shift, flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Three (3) years of med-surg experience One (1) year pediatric experience American Heart Association BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients

Provide direct patient care to adult geriatrics and pediatric patients in a medical surgical unit Monitor and assess patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families about health conditions and proper care procedures Perform necessary procedures within the scope of practice for registered nurses

Orientation occurs on Mondays only. Travelers who miss the compliance deadline will be rescheduled for the next orientation. Travelers may be expected to float to other departments as needed based on qualifications.
