Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Unit (Adult & Pediatric)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule12-Hour Night shifts, with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Unit specializing in adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. The unit features excellent staffing ratios, with a typical non-COVID ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 and a COVID ratio of 2:1 or 3:1.
Responsibilities- Caring for both adult and pediatric patients in a 20-bed unit.
- Administering medications and supporting patient care.
- Participating in staff meetings and potentially assisting in Flu Immunization clinics.
- Floating to other departments as competent and necessary.
- Three (3) years of med-surg experience.
- One (1) year of pediatric experience.
- Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- The candidate must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
