Accountant​/CPA

We are a growing CPA firm in Fort Dodge, Iowa, seeking Accountants (Certified Public Accountants) for immediate hire. Our team is committed to providing high-quality tax preparation, bookkeeping, and auditing services to a diverse client base. We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented self-starters-Accountants (Certified Public Accountants) with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

• Prepare individual and business tax returns
• Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
• Assist with audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Analyze financial data and provide financial recommendations
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting standards
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and work papers

• Active CPA license (for CPA applicants)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, tax prep software, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and time management abilities
• Willingness to work on-site in Fort Dodge, Iowa
