Job Description - Grains Origination Summer Intern (2027) - Ethanol Plant (26001E7)

• Purchases corn supply as required from producers in accordance with guidelines provided.
• Communicates effectively with producers as required for contracting grain purchases and scheduling deliveries.
• Enters purchase contracts into grain accounting system.
• Maintains grain position reports for facility.
• Works with accounting department as required to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments to producers.
• Complete assigned projects timely, collaborating with team members to obtain needed information.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

This position is a summer internship which requires the student to work 40 hours per week.

Positions are available at the following locations:
Fort Dodge, IA
Mount Vernon, IN

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) in Agriculture Economics or a business-related field required.
• A minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the intern program required.
• Graduation date on or after the end of the intern program required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week required.

• Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.
