Community Christian School is seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher for grades K–8 to join our Christ-centered learning community on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore their artistic talents, develop their skills, and express themselves creatively while integrating Christian values into instruction.

• Plan and teach art lessons for students in grades K–8
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression through various art mediums
• Develop age-appropriate projects that align with curriculum goals
• Display and celebrate student artwork within the school community
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom and manage art supplies effectively
• Collaborate with staff and participate in school activities and events as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field preferred
• Experience teaching art to elementary and middle school students preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Community Christian School

• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and agreement with the mission and values of Community Christian School
• Ability to model Christian character and integrate faith into classroom instruction
• Applicant must agree with the school's Statement of Faith.
