Senior IT Analyst – OT and Lab‑Applications

In this role you will act as the primary liaison between our global IT teams and the operational technology that powers our manufacturing and R&D sites, based in Fort Dodge, IA.

• Partner with manufacturing and R&D business customers to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into detailed application and operational requirements.
• Own the application lifecycle for local OT/IT systems, including solution development, vendor management, computer system validation (CSV), break‑fix support, and release management.
• Guide and manage multiple IT/OT projects, creating project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and communicating status to stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance for the integration and support of IT/OT solutions, performing complex troubleshooting of systems, infrastructure, and databases to maintain operational stability.
• Proactively network with IT and OT resources across Elanco to capture, share, and implement reusable solutions and best practices for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Process Automation, Operational Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology and 3 years in Operational Technology infrastructure support.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and innovative problem‑solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
• Self‑management and initiative to work independently while handling multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of assigned business processes and commitment to safety policies and regulations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).

• Experience in a Technology Integrator or Business Analyst role.
• Direct experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) and qualification processes.
• Proficiency with ITIL management tools (Service Now) and standard MS Office applications.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing‑related computer systems, data infrastructure, and complex relational databases.
• Experience networking with other sites to implement best practices.

Fort Dodge, IA – On‑site position with minimal travel (0‑10% annually). 8‑hour day shifts, Monday‑Friday. Occasional exposure to production and R&D areas.
