Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
About the Role:
The Manager, Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and directing all maintenance operations to ensure the optimal functioning and safety of facilities and equipment. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. The manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of assets.
They will also develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and respond promptly to emergency repair needs. Ultimately, this position ensures that all maintenance activities support the organization's goals for reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Maintenance Management (e.g., CMRP) or related professional credentials.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or large facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to maintenance operations.
- Strong project management skills and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
- Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting costs and controlling expenditures.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure timely and effective maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Analyze maintenance data and generate reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Oversee emergency repair operations to minimize disruption and restore functionality quickly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory of parts and supplies.
