As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing team responsible for producing high-quality animal health vaccines in a cGMP-regulated environment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, supporting aseptic manufacturing processes, and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient vaccine production while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Perform aseptic manufacturing activities including weighing, measuring, sampling, calculations, and batch production execution in accordance with cGMP and safety standards.
- Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and monitor production equipment while maintaining production records and inventory transactions within electronic systems.
- Perform in-process quality checks, environmental monitoring, cleaning verification, and support batch documentation to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Create and update SOPs, complete deviation reports, and maintain accurate production documentation and training records.
- Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related scientific field; OR associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience. - Experience:
Experience in biological, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing environments with exposure to cGMP operations and production equipment. - Top 2
Skills:
Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing and biological production processes combined with strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
- Experience operating biological manufacturing equipment such as fermenters, centrifuges, or concentration systems.
- Experience working with ERP or electronic inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of biological organisms and vaccine manufacturing processes.
- Experience authoring SOPs, deviation reports, and manufacturing documentation.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with experience supporting LEAN initiatives.
