Job Description & How to Apply Below

Can you turn a work order into a flawless hydraulic system?

If you thrive on hands‑on builds, precision testing, and collaborating across teams, this role is for you. At FORCE America, you’ll assemble and validate hydraulic and pneumatic systems—sometimes blending our components with supplier parts, other times integrating multiple supplier products—so customers receive complete, dependable solutions.

Imagine your first week

You unpack a work order, stage parts, and assemble using hand and power tools. You run tests to confirm quality metrics, throughput, and timing. You capture parts usage, note any defects, and flag additional components needed to keep inventory accurate. An urgent order arrives—you coordinate with material handling and sales to fast‑track it. A customer stops by for a repair; you assess the need and complete the fix.

You wrap by restoring a spotless, safe work area. Then you’re ready for the next build—and other duties as assigned.

What you’ll handle
  • Assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic systems per work orders using hand and power tools.
  • Testing assembled systems to verify quality, quantity, and time requirements.
  • Updating inventory records with parts consumed, defective items, and additional needs.
  • Customer assistance for needs assessments and repairs.
  • Coordinating with material handling, sales, and other partners to expedite orders.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
What it takes
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree (2-year) in Fluid Power, Mechatronics, or a related mechanical field strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of fluid power preferred.
  • 1–5 years’ experience in assembly or a shop environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to prioritize with urgency to meet customer timing and quantity goals.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
  • Customer-first orientation.
