Your Role
Bacterin Operator A Bacterin Operator will be responsible for the media addition, inoculation, down-streaming, dispensing and final filtration of live and inactivated Bacterial Antigen. An Operator will proceed independently in product processing in accordance with standard methods, standard operating procedures, and Manufacturing Directions, using proper aseptic techniques.
Responsibilities- Aseptic Production & Fermentation:
Execute aseptic operations within the Bacterin area, including fermentation vessel management (media additions, inoculation, and harvesting) and general steaming processes. - Equipment Operation:
Expertly operate automated and semi-automated equipment used in Antigen production to ensure efficient manufacturing cycles. - Technical Setup & Troubleshooting:
Responsible for the setup and troubleshooting of production equipment to maintain operational readiness and minimize downtime. - Equipment Maintenance & Inventory:
Manage the full lifecycle of Bacterin equipment and tanks, including assembly, wrapping, sterilization, delivery, and inventory maintenance. - Compliance & Quality:
Comprehend and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Filling Manufacturing Directions (FMDs) to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to perform calculations and conversions involving weights, volumes, and percentages.
- Computer aptitude that allows the person to adapt to future platforms and software.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Handling, Decontamination and Sterilization and BPE methods.
- Understanding of Basic GMP/Documentation practices, basic laboratory practices, biology and microbiology.
- Understanding of operating in an aseptic environment
- Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated understanding of systems, equipment, and processes
Overtime may be required depending on production demands. This role might require lifting to 60 lbs and hold above waist level while maintaining sterility
