Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Fort Dodge, IA

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage and administer drips including cardiac, heparin, insulin, and perform some titration.
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Med/Tele nursing; first-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of total nursing experience.
• Comfortable floating to ED and ICU settings.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
• Active Iowa RN state license required.
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Experience working in a regional hospital or trauma center environment.
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting.

• Opportunity to work at a well-established regional medical center with a structured orientation program beginning every Monday.
• Competitive contract assignment with defined overtime, call back, on-call, and charge/preceptor differentials.
