Responsibilities- Assesses and monitors patient needs across all age groups.
- Develops, implements, and updates individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provides nursing care in accordance with standards and care plans.
- Coordinates discharge planning, education, and referrals.
- Documents care accurately and communicates to ensure continuity of care.
- Supports unit operations, professional activities, and resource utilization.
- Maintains safety, follows policies, and promotes a positive patient experience.
- Uses electronic systems for documentation and collaborates across departments.
- Cross-trains and floats to Acute Care as needed.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa or applicable compact state. Must be licensed in state of residence
- Must have inpatient pediatrics experience
- CPR, PALS, NRP and 2 hour annual stroke education required.
