We are seeking Registered Nurse (RN) candidates, skilled in Pediatrics. This role will support high-quality patient care across multispecialty clinical settings by assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, coordinating referrals, assisting with procedures, and documenting care accurately in the electronic health record.
In addition to Amergis' standard benefits package we are also offering the following:
- $50 + $5.09/hour up to 40 hours/week
- $6,650 sign on bonus
- 2 weeks accrued paid vacation

The ideal candidate will bring recent hands-on nursing experience, sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible shifts based on mission needs, including possible days, evenings, nights, weekends, training holidays, and federal holidays. Shift & Schedule Expectations:
- Work Schedule:
0530 to 2230 Sun through Sat, in general. Shifts may be up to 16 hrs but are normally scheduled for 12 hrs. Scheduling handled by govt scheduler - May include Overtime
- May be subject to float to other clinical areas:
May rotate shifts, transfer work location and/or clinics during normal duty hours. On rare occasions may be assigned to irregular tours of duty to include weekends, nights, and/or holidays, depending on area of assignment, increased patient workload, low patient census, staff surges or shortages, and government mission - No On-Call, No Call-Back
- Punctuality is a must, HCW will be required to clock in/out
- Random Drug Screening/Testing – Subject to random drug urinalysis within 2 hours of notification. Refusal will be automatic termination
Minimum Requirements:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Shall possess one (1) year of clinical or inpatient experience, post-education/graduation and post-licensure, within the last two (2) years providing direct care in multispecialty inpatient or outpatient clinical settings. Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Experience must demonstrate recent hands-on proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nurse care for patients across diverse medical and surgical specialties in accordance with current professional nursing standards
- Current BLS, PALS certifications through AHA or American Red Cross
- Associates Degree of Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- US Citizen
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass TB Test
- Subject to a background/security investigation
- Willingness to comply with DHA vaccination requirements.

- Required to wear PPE during performance of services.
- Walking, long periods of standing, stretching, crouching, bending, stooping, lifting to 50lbs, lifting over 50lbs with assistance.
- Exposure to infections disease; toxic, hazardous, or irritating chemicals; carcinogenic materials; noxious fumes; flammable liquids; radiation; pathogenic bacteria; electric hazards.
- Contract workers should maintain good personal hygiene and present a well-groomed and professional appearance IAW the policy at the place of performance
