  • Ensure that the rules and regulations for publications are adhered to in the maintenance or regulatory provisions for the awards and decoration.
  • Plan overall work operations, sets priorities, and establishes objectives.
  • Manage awards programs and exercises technical authority for proper administration of inter-intra government agencies for customers.
  • Review current policy changes, operating conditions, field, new/revised legislation, executive orders, higher echelon directives, existing policies/procedures/regulations to determine the nature/scope/direction of proposed or required changes.
  • Prepare memorandums/briefings for Awards and Decorations Branch, The Adjutant General Directorate (TAGD), Command General (CG), Human Resources Command (HRC), Personnel (G-1), Chief of Staff, Secretary of the Army, and other officials' signature.

Requirements Conditions of employment

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Incumbent may be required to perform occasional Temporary Duty Travel (25%).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience;
