Position: Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Military) with Security Clearance
Duties
* Direct, plan, and coordinate all short- and long-range activities for the Army's Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Combat Service Support Slating (CSSS) program, serving as the principal operating agent and managing worldwide command and key billets.
* Lead and execute critical annual personnel events, including the Sergeant Major Evaluation Board and the CSM Centralized Selection, Slating, and Assignment processes.
* Directly supervise and mentor a diverse 20-member military and civilian team, managing performance evaluations, development standards, and personnel actions.
* Serve as the principal advisor to senior leadership on all policy, regulatory, and systemic matters regarding CSM/Sergeant Major (SGM) talent management.
* Develop and monitor management systems within Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) for accuracy, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend updates to established military personnel policies and regulations. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating Senior Enlisted (E-9 equivalent) Evaluation Boards and aligning Senior Enlisted Advisors (such as Sergeants Major or equivalent branch representatives) to serve as panel members; managing and executing global talent management, selection, slating, and/or assignment programs for senior enlisted advisors or equivalent executive-level leaders; and advising senior executives on human resources policies, rules, and procedures.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
