We are currently seeking highly motivated LPN’s to work within a School District environment on a military base – qualified clinicians MUST possess strong communication skills and a willingness to work with children/teens, parents and administration alike. We offer Monday – Friday positions!
RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
- Provide basic patient care and treatment in school setting
- Collaborate with RN’s and district personnel to administer prescribed medications per care plan
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
- One on one care
- Follow emergency and safety procedures as directed by the school
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical field a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients, parents and school personnel
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible, detail oriented and have a strong work ethic
