PCSI is looking for an Electrician for our Ft. Knox, Kentucky contract! Our Electricians will perform electrical installation, maintenance and repair of facility electrical systems. Installs, inspects, adjusts, test, maintains and repairs electrical wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes and a wide variety of electrical fixtures. This position will report to the Electrical Supervisor and is based out of Ft.
Knox, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am- 3:30 pm.

- Perform electrical installation, maintenance and repair of facility electrical systems. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities in support of facility goals. Assist area personnel and complete special assignments as needed.
- Install, inspect, adjust, test, maintain and repair electrical wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes and a wide variety of electrical fixtures.
- Perform maintenance and repair on electrical equipment including electrical switch boxes, lighting circuits, branch and transfer circuits, HVAC fans and switches, and related shop equipment.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit, inserts, splicing and connecting wire to fixtures, outlets, switches, receptacles and power sources.
- Manage all work orders scheduled and assigned by the Electrical Supervisor and PMO Supervisor.
- Respond to emergency after‑hour calls as determined by the Electrical Supervisor.
- High school graduate and/or GED equivalent.
- Working knowledge of all national and local electrical codes.
- Journeyman license strongly preferred.
Skills And Abilities
- Experience in installation, troubleshooting, testing, repair and maintenance of all electrical systems and devices including low and high voltage systems located on Fort Knox.
- Ability to effectively read, write and speak English.
- Pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
- Work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- If required, obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
