Bookkeeper

Overview

Seeking a full-cycle bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting for a mixed real estate portfolio, including multifamily properties. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of hands-on real estate accounting experience who enjoys being close to the numbers and working with property-level financials.

• Handle routine accounting activities for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Perform bank reconciliations and support cash management needs
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Review AR/AP transactions to ensure accurate coding and posting
• Help prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain balance sheet schedules and assist with variance analysis
• Support year-end reporting and coordination with tax and audit teams
• Communicate with internal teams and, as needed, ownership or external partners

• 2–4 years of accounting experience within commercial real estate or property management
• Exposure to lease accounting and property-level financials
• Experience with Yardi strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP fundamentals
• Comfortable with Excel and standard accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
