Property Accountant/ Bookkeeper with Commercial experience

LHH recruitment solutions is hiring for a property accountant/ bookkeeper in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. Our client is searching for a property accountant/bookkeeper that has a strong background in commercial multi-family real estate. Responsibilities to include:

• Posting payments.
• Posting and coding entries.
• Prepare, review, and distribute month-end financial and post adjustments as needed
• Processing receivables.
• Supporting payables.
• Basic reconciliations.
• Pulling reports from the accounting system.
• Supporting senior accountants who will wrap up the end of the cycle.
• Assemble and review monthly financial packages, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Budget Variance.
• Prepare, review, and distribute month-end financials and post adjustments as needed

You are a great fit if:

• Multifamily property management accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred;
  Associate degree with equivalent experience considered
• Experience with Yardi
