Senior Accountant

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

• 3-5 years of practical accounting experience, ideally within property management (e.g., condominiums, HOAs)
• Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and review monthly financial statements with accuracy
• Exposure to audit support processes and involvement in budget preparation
• Strong understanding of accrual‑based accounting principles
• Experience with Yardi and/or Enumerate is a plus

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, particularly as it relates to property accounting
• Ability to analyze financial data, investigate variances, and clearly document findings

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical thinking skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to present financial information to non‑financial stakeholders, including board members
• Proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with team members and leadership
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across various properties
• Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
