Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: 55-65k
Position OverviewThe Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role will collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors to maintain strong relationships and resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and uphold compliance with company policies and internal controls. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities- Process a high volume of invoices daily with accuracy and efficiency
- Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts (3-way matching)
- Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation
- Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Minimum of 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience handling high-volume invoice processing required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Legal industry experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with high-volume environments (e.g., professional services, legal, healthcare, or similar)
- Familiarity with expense reporting and employee reimbursements
- Experience with automated AP systems or invoice processing tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Additional coursework or certification in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
