Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant will manage a variety of audit and attest assignments designated by the Supervisor or Manager. The role requires functioning with minimal supervision, supervising and mentoring staff, independent problem solving, strengthening client relationships, and increasing team profitability. The Senior Accountant will primarily support audit clients and develop audit‑specific technical expertise, with day‑to‑day assignments aligned to audit engagements.
Your Contributions and Responsibilities- Complete audit and/or attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
- Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
- Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management.
- Identify potential problem areas and propose effective solutions.
- Conduct business‑specific research, analyze data, compile reports, and make recommendations.
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism and service orientation.
- Enhance industry skills by completing training courses.
- Increase team profitability by managing time efficiently and contributing ideas.
- Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants.
- Work toward obtaining a CPA license if not already obtained.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus) and 2‑3 years of public accounting experience or a comparable balance of education and work experience. Ability to sit for or have passed CPA exam sections is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and report writing tools.
- Professional demeanor with co‑workers and clients.
- Meet internal firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.).
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and travel domestically as required.
