Accountant Clerk

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Accountant Clerk to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a full‑time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. Experienced with a government agency would be helpful but not required.

• Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Prepare and issue invoices to clients
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries
• Support the Accounting Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, such as Quick Books
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
