Full Charge Bookkeeper

ICX Group is hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a well-established professional services firm in Fort Lauderdale. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys owning the day‑to‑day accounting function and working closely with leadership in a smaller company environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the books from start to finish, including month‑end close, financial statements, AP, AR/collections, payroll, reconciliations, and billing. Experience in an engineering, architecture, construction, or other project‑based environment is highly preferred.

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of hands‑on bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience, including collections
• Payroll processing and coordination
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Client invoicing and project billing
• Experience tracking project costs and profitability
• Strong Excel and overall computer skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function
• Experience coordinating with an outside CPA for year‑end and tax preparation

Highly preferred:

• Deltek Vantagepoint, Deltek Vision, or other Deltek experience
• Background in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services
• Project accounting, project billing, WIP, or project profitability experience
