This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Controller to join a collaborative, high-performing team and play a key role in overseeing the company’s accounting and financial operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to partner with leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented retail environment.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and financial statement preparation
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Manage cash flow forecasting, reporting, and working capital
• Oversee inventory accounting and support the financial reporting needs of a retail/distribution business
• Manage payroll, intercompany accounting, and related financial processes
• Prepare financial analysis, reporting, and insights for senior leadership
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, supply chain, and other business leaders
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit, tax, and other financial initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller-level responsibility
• Experience with in retail, consumer products, beauty, cosmetics, CPG, or distribution strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting
• Experience working with companies experiencing growth and increasing operational complexity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools
• Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style with strong business judgment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
