Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a skilled Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented and experienced in managing invoicing and billing processes. As part of this short-term assignment, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process invoices accurately using People Soft systems.

- Perform calculations and ensure billing accuracy using Excel spreadsheets.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.

- Generate and distribute billing statements to clients in a timely manner.

- Handle billing collections and follow up on overdue payments.

- Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all billing activities.

- Provide support for ad hoc billing tasks and reporting requirements. Requirements - Proven experience in billing functions and systems.

- Proficiency in using People Soft for invoicing and related processes.

- Strong skills in Excel for calculations and data management.

- Familiarity with computerized billing systems and tools.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Effective communication skills for handling billing inquiries and resolving issues.

- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
