Polsinelli’s Fort Lauderdale office has an immediate opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant supporting the Real Estate practice group.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare engagement letters
- Provide administrative support, i.e., time entry, new business intake, Zoom calls, travel, calendar, and meeting management, expense reports, filing of documents and real estate records
- Assist with front- and back-office support of a small office, including but not limited to ordering and managing inventory of supplies, managing incoming and outgoing mail, event and meeting setup and support for onsite and visiting attorneys, facilitating parking and building access, and working with facilities and marketing with onsite logistics, both everyday and for events
- Organize conveyance and loan documents and closing binders
- File documents and real estate records
- Form companies and order title exams
- Prepare closing statements, deeds, and work with Secretary of State Processes and Procedures
- Work closely with paralegals on a variety of tasks to support the team
- 5 years of related experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at a time
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook
