Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise and evaluate the work of assigned staff, ensuring efficient operations.
• Identify and address preventative maintenance needs for equipment and structures.
• Collaborate with plant management to assess the plant's overall status.
• Develop plans and procedures to meet work production goals and maintain records.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for the assigned area.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, materials, and chemicals.
• Participate in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair as needed.
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Work around medium voltage, rotating equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Direct contractors and consultants as necessary.
• Initiate training requests for staff development.
