Strategic Business Analyst

We are seeking a Strategic Business Analyst with approximately 5–10 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, strategic business analysis, or a similar analytical role. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, profitability, pricing, and business-performance analysis experience and be comfortable working directly with senior/executive leadership. Advanced Excel is essential, along with strong Power BI/BI capabilities and ERP experience, preferably SAP.

Experience with in fragrance, beauty/cosmetics, CPG, specialty chemicals, ingredients, or a similar manufacturing/B2B environment is strongly preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Lauderdale
.

• Partner directly with the General Manager to support strategic planning, execution, and key business decisions.
• Analyze business performance to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Build financial and commercial models to support investments, pricing decisions, customer strategies, and other business priorities.
• Support annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze sales performance by customer, territory, category, product, and salesperson.
• Develop profitability analyses by customer, account, and product portfolio.
• Support pricing strategies, growth initiatives, incentive programs, and business cases.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and customer investments.
• Support Sales leadership with pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and account planning.
• Partner closely with Finance to strengthen forecasting accuracy and profitability analysis.
• Monitor gross margin, contribution margin, and operating performance.
• Develop financial models to evaluate investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

• Maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of business data.
• Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations.

• Support demand planning, inventory optimization, and analysis of operational performance and customer service levels.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives involving Sales, Finance, and relevant operational teams.
• Leverage SAP, Formpak, and business intelligence tools to improve reporting, analytics, efficiency, and data quality.
• Support digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.
