The Junior Business Analyst is a key member of team BAC. This role supports business process improvement, data analytics, reporting, and technology initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Junior Business Analyst assists with gathering business requirements, documenting processes, analyzing data, maintaining reports and dashboards, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions and workflow automation efforts.

Working under the guidance of senior team members and organizational leaders, this position collaborates with stakeholders across departments to support the identification of improvement opportunities, assist with analysis of operational issues, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. The Junior Business Analyst contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by providing analytical support, coordinating project activities, and helping maintain documentation and training materials.

Work is performed under general supervision with increasing independence as knowledge and skills develop. Complex issues and strategic decisions are escalated appropriately. This role serves as a developmental position with opportunities to grow in business analysis, process improvement, project management, and technology solution design.

• Support cross-functional process improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies, reduce administrative burden, and improve workflow effectiveness.
• Assist in coordinating stakeholder input and project activities to support positive business outcomes.
• Assist in analyzing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, waste reduction, and operational improvement.
• Support leadership by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to help inform project priorities and decision-making.
• Create, maintain, and update dashboards, reports, KPI tracking tools, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Assist with the design, maintenance, and documentation of databases, data structures, and reporting solutions that support business requirements.
• Participate in testing, validation, and implementation activities for process improvement and technology initiatives.
• Assist with configuration, testing, documentation, and ongoing support of reporting tools, workflow automation solutions, and business applications.
• Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures that support continuous improvement efforts.
• Support the development and delivery of training materials, user guides, and training sessions to assist teams with adopting new processes and technologies.
• Support ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, data collection efforts, and special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• One (1) year of experience with data analytics, business analysis, business intelligence, process improvement, or a related field.
• An equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may suffice for the above requirements.
