Data Collector

Alliance Drone is building a structured digital twin of FLIBS -- geotagged listing photos, boat and booth locations, and way finding data -- delivered to Marine Source and attendee apps. We're hiring Data Collectors to walk the docks and systematically document every assigned boat.

• Follow an assigned route/zone across the show's docks and collect information about boats: identifying details, condition, location, and surrounding context
• Take location-enabled reference photos on iPhone and track your walking route via GPS
• Place boats and points of interest on the event map as you work
• Upload captured data every 2 hours so offshore annotators/mappers can start processing while you're still in the field
• Report inaccessible areas, missing boats, or moved exhibits

Required equipment: iPhone 15 or newer with location services enabled; comfortable, dock-safe footwear; portable battery/charger.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a repeatable, systematic process rather than working ad hoc
• Comfortable walking and standing most of the day, on docks and around boats -- able to walk up to 10 miles over the course of a single show day
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently with limited supervision
• Prior field data collection, mapping, or property documentation experience a plus
• Real estate photography background preferred

Schedule & Compensation: $300/day (based on an 8‑hour day at $37.50/hour), on-site across some or all of Oct 24-30, 2026. Preference given to candidates available multiple days.
