Position Summary

We are seeking a Roofing Production Foreman who will lead crews in the field to ensure commercial roofing projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. The role requires an experienced roofer who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys leading people, and wants direct ownership of jobsite success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Construction Managers and Project Managers to ensure all projects are completed and scheduled.
  • Provide timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects in the field.
  • Coordinate the delivery and ordering of all materials required for each project (materials, dump switch outs, subs, inspections, A/C, and equipment).
  • Review invoices, receipts, time sheets, and order forms to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through direct daily contact.
  • Fill out, collect, and review time sheets.
  • Review and track budgets (% of complete vs. budgeted), labor man‑days, and material usage.
  • Analyze organizational operating practices and procedures.
  • Oversee work progress to verify safety and conformance to standards.
  • Assign work to employees.
  • Orient new employees on equipment use, maintenance, safety, layout, and fabrication.
  • Attend and conduct pre‑planning, pre‑construction, and staff meetings.
  • Conduct training for personnel.
  • Prepare safety reports and ensure adherence to the safety plan.
  • Recommend purchase or repair of equipment.
  • Coordinate through subordinate supervisory personnel.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
  • Plan or organize work including 5‑day planner, emergency weather planning, work orders, punch list completion, and finals.
  • Inspect project operations on site and verify specification compliance.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of workers or staff.
  • Perform safety inspections in construction.
  • Estimate material or labor requirements.
  • Read technical drawings and apply knowledge of code requirements.
  • Read work order, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
  • Education:

    High school or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    5 years’ experience with repair on various roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Systems, Metal, American Hydrotech, Liquid Membrane, Flashing, or Built‑up).
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Successful pre‑employment drug test.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
  • Ability to lift 100 lb or more.
  • Successful background check.
  • Expertise in roof inspection, leak detection, and troubleshooting (highly desired).
  • Willing to be trained and use company software (experience with FCS software is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial roofing safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Knowledge of material used, cost, fabrication time, installation time, and material waste.
