We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and hands-on experience managing subcontractors, crews, schedules, and jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily field operations and coordinate all onsite construction activities.
  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor construction progress and identify potential schedule or quality issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients.
  • Track project milestones and communicate progress, delays, and field issues to project management.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, building codes, and company standards.
  • Assist with resolving field conflicts and construction-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction experience, with proven experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
  • Must have hands-on experience with concrete, framing, or masonry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field crews.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial, industrial, multifamily, or large-scale construction experience.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction software.
