Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager – Port Everglades to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Your role- Provide full-time, on-site management of construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Enforce adherence to project schedules, identifying delays and working with contractors to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct daily site observations and maintain detailed field reports documenting progress, issues, and activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for all contractors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate construction activities to minimize conflicts and ensure efficient sequencing of work.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings with contractors to review schedule, safety, and performance.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and work plans in coordination with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience, preferably in heavy civil, marine, facility, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in port, maritime, or similar complex construction environments is highly desirable.

Expected compensation range is between $185,000 - $228,000 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
