ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT. Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area
• Assist with Target Loyalty programs and sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and assist with Target App features including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Process returns following policies and procedures with Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours and remain available for guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders and returns while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)

• Willingness to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners and other technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance required
• Be mobile for the duration of a shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions in roles such as Drive-Up and carryout
