Job Overview

The pool attendant is responsible for overseeing the pool area, making safety announcements, and maintaining an inventory of all poolside equipment to be always available for guest use. Experienced in the hospitality industry, serves residents by providing information and services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee pool area (adult/children) and make safety announcements.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
  • Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain a service‑oriented attitude.
  • Pick up debris from the pool and possess basic cleaning skills.
  • Check sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guests to use.
  • Report broken sports equipment to the manager so replacement can be ordered.
  • Work as a team member.
  • Be accessible to and approachable for residents/guests.
  • Be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out appropriate procedures for the position.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of college‑level courses in hospitality strongly desirable.
  • Two or more years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multiple language fluency desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs; handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by spoken and written word.
  • Navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet job functions.
  • Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Schedule

Friday – Tuesday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

What We Offer

As a full‑time non‑exempt associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. You will also be eligible for time‑off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
