We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex municipal and public‑sector projects from concept through construction. This role provides technical and design leadership, manages project teams, oversees budgets and schedules, and serves as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The Senior Landscape Architect also plays a key role in mentoring staff, shaping design standards, and contributing to the firm’s long‑term growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex, high‑visibility municipal projects
  • Oversee and approve design concepts, construction documents, and technical deliverables
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, presenting design solutions and managing feedback
  • Mentor and supervise Landscape Architects, junior staff, and design team members
  • Coordinate with engineers, planners, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Conduct site visits to support construction administration and ensure design intent
  • Contribute to design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required (FL‑preferred, otherwise must attain Florida License within 6‑months of employment)
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional, licensed landscape architecture experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong experience leading municipal or public‑sector projects
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D or Revit preferred
  • Proficiency with Sketch Up, Rhino, Lumion, or similar visualization tools
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with GIS tools and project management software preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • In‑office for the first six (6) months; hybrid work arrangement available thereafter
  • Office‑based leadership and design work combined with regular field visits
  • Frequent travel to project sites, client meetings, and stakeholder engagements
